Weichert Career Center LeadsFrom Internet Job Postings • Leads generated from internet job boards, resume searches • Career Center inputs possible hires into Capture • Manager receive email with new lead • Manager accepts lead and immediately places call • Manager closes for an appointment (don’t give info over the phone) • Manager utilizes Capture to create a follow up plan and take notes

  5. College Relationships • Visit the career centers • Find out about becoming a guest speaker • Learn about their real estate programs • Get the dates for their career fairs

  6. Job Fairs • If budget allows, attend local career fairs • Collect as many resumes as possible and follow up with everyone who stopped by • Offer a scholarship for school if possible

  7. Advertising • The Weichert Career Center advertises on job boards • Utilize press releases and local newspaper ads to promote career seminars • Use social media opportunities to advertise

Using Social Media for Recruiting • Accept everyone as a friend, follower, or accept them in your network • Promote career events and real estate school schedules • Talk about the real estate market in a positive way • Do not post any unit or dollar volume statistics (as a privately-held company, we don’t release sales data) – speak in percentages only

  9. Utilizing Current Associates to Recruit New Ones • Let this happen naturally, they will come to you • Pay for spouses and family members to get their license

  10. Recruiting Sign (Where Allowed) This will generate more leads than any other avenue.

  12. How to Build the Relationship • Through your Associates • Broker’s Opens • Open Houses • Social Media • Calling (have a reason to call)

Current Associates (Your Greatest Recruiters) • During one on ones, ask them who they would like to have on their team • Ask them to help get an appointment and you will include them in lunch (with RVP approval) • Take your associate and the co-broke Brand X associate for lunch to congratulate them (with RVP approval) • If they believe in you, they will bring you names

  14. Broker’s Opens: Making the Rounds • Go out and visit all of them to get to know the players in your area • Put a face to the calls

  15. Open Houses • Visit Brand X Opens on Sunday to preview their inventory • Don’t spend too much time there…it is just a teaser and a hello

  16. Using Social Media • Build your friend list with Brand X associates • Find them through searches and your current associates • Get to know them personally • Place ads on Facebook to Brand X associates • Drive them into your Facebook fan page • Post good relevant real estate info
