  5. Tetons and Snake River • The light illuminates the mountains from behind • The mountains are the main object and my eyes are drawn there by the light and the lines of the river • Ansel is showing the beauty of nature, just like he always does

  7. Old Faithful Geyser • Light is used to distinguish cloud from mist • The water is the main object because it protrudes from the rest of the picture • Ansel shows the greatness of the geyser • The geyser follows the rule of thirds

  9. Vernal Fall • The light comes from behind his shoulder I believe • The water and the tree are the main objects in the photo • again he shows how awe inspiring nature is • This photo follows rule of thirds exactly
