  1. Should individuals have a right to bear arms? People use guns unexperienced  They put everyone around them in danger, mostly themselves. You think a gun is going to protect you from intruders and criminals. It is only going to make these people feel threathened and immediately want to attack. Also, if you use a gun without training you are most likely to miss and hurt people by accident, making you the criminal. So, be responsible and act against it. • Why we should  Everyone should be able to bear arms unless you are a criminal ! It gives us the right so we can keep all of our other freedoms , we can fight anyone who tires to take our freedoms away ! Without this right we wouldn't be citizens we would be subjects ! It is not bad it's just the dumb things people do with the guns , guns don't kill people , people kill people ...

  2. HUMANS KILL NOT GUNS •  Guns do not kill people. Just like a car does not cause the accident, the spoon does not make fat people, the knife doesn’t cut. The human makes the acts. One could just as easily kill with a pencil or a bat as one could with a gun. Do not blame the gun for its trigger being pulled Guns...well okay but lets not make it that easy  People do have a "right" to bear arms, yes. Some people have them just to feel safe in case something happens, and others have guns because they like to go hunting sometimes. All I'm saying is that it shouldn't be as EASY as it is to buy seriously destructive weapons and ammunition.

  3. if hamburger causes heart failure, should we ban hamburgers? if we have a lot of car accidents, should we ban cars? if alcohol causes crazy behavior, should we ban alcohol? can we simply look at statistics, and establish the "right" way to live, and then impose it on everyone? do you want to live in such a world?it is my decision. if i want to own a gun, on what grounds can you claim to know better? you want to take my gun just because some stupid guy was reckless, and his 5 years old kid shot himself with his? you want to take my gun because criminals rob banks with theirs? you want to take my gun because you believe i will not be able to defend myself with it? who are you to make that decision? it is my gun. get off.

  4.  The biggest reason why the founding fathers gave us the right to bear arms is to protect us from the government if it became too large and out of control. Other pros to having the right to bear arms include being able to hunt, family protection, and a good general way to relieve stress (just ask anyone at a firing range. Whenever they get stressed they go shoot off a couple rounds into a poster and they come out much more calm. A much more beneficial solution than tobacco or alcohol)  The biggest con however is when a gun owner accidently shoots a family member. That's why I don't personally own a gun, but I still support one's right to own one.

  5. The bottom line is that a gun is a lethal weapon and its only function is to kill; the fewer people have it, the better it is. If firearms were less prevalent in society, criminals would have greater difficulty laying hands on them. There would thus be a lower possibility of firearms falling in the hands of teenagers or children, preventing a tragedy like the Columbine High School massacre.

  6. Gun control will ensure that there will be a stringent check on the ownership of all firearms and the number of manufactured firearms. The immediate result would be a reduction in violent crime. There will indeed be incidences of shoplifting or house theft, but the involvement of guns would be minimal, resulting in less human suffering.

  7. Gun ownership acts as an “equalizer” for women, who are then able to deter or defend against attacks by stronger, more aggressive men.
