  1. Utilization of Wood Chipper, Box Compression and Cobb Sizing Testers

  2. Wood chipping is a very crucial part of many pulp and paper making processes. It is widely used for the preparation of chips from wood, for lab and also for educational purposes. A Wood Chipper consists of an electrically powered motor, a circular disc and a shaft connecting them. It is possible to vary the rotational speed of the motor with a control unit.

  3. The circular disc is equipped with a chipping tool knife and an instrumental knife holder. Opposite position of the disc consists of dummy knife holder with a mass adjusted in such a way that any dynamic unbalance is minimized. Further, a wood chipper is designed in such a way that there is a window provided where the cutting process can be recorded through high-speed filming.
