  4. Decontamination Leader • Check-in and obtain briefing from the HMGS • Establish the Contamination Reduction Corridor(s) • Identify contaminated people and equipment • Supervise the operations of the decon

  5. Decontamination Leader • Maintain control of movement of people and equipment within the CRZ • Maintain communications and coordinate operations with: • Entry Leader • SAC Leader • SRA Manager

  6. Decontamination Leader • Coordinate the transfer of contaminated patients requiring medical attention (after decon) to the Medical Group • Coordinate handling, storage, and transfer of contaminants within the CRZ • Maintain Unit Log

  7. Decon Leader Group Exercise • Draw the layout of the CRZ on flip chart paper • Develop a traffic plan for the CRZ • Determine resources needed • Establish plan for decontaminating victims • Establish plan for emergency decon • Establish plan for handling, storing and transferring contaminants with in to CRZ • Describe level of PPE needed for decon personnel • Maintain a unit log
