SWBAT… • Explain components of the child welfare system (how to prevent, identify, and help victims of child abuse)
POSTERS: • You will be creating posters to share with your classmates that highlight the main components of your chosen child welfare articles (How it works, prevention, recognizing child abuse, leaving your child home alone, long term consequences). • Posters should be colorful and neat. • Some components of the child welfare articles have 4-5 people who were in charge of reading them. When Ms. Stitt says “go,” SILENTLY create groups of 2-3 people who have the same article as you. You will create a poster with them. • You will have about 10-15 minutes to create your posters and prepare your short presentations. What NOT to do
