Its hot!” – Siena • “I put on an oven mit when I touch the pot” - Talia

  4. Children at Northgate Children's Services were given the opportunity to talk to our cook Steven Styles.

  5. The children loved having fun and being safe in the kitchen

  6. We made energy posters and talked about being safe in the kitchen at home

  7. “What are we doing in the kitchen?” “We blow on the food cause its hot”- Siena “We have to mix it all up”-Amelia “We are making pancakes….I'm mixing with the spoon….I put the egg in” – Abigael

  8. “How are we being safe in the kitchen?” • Kitchen, cook food, mummy cooking, too hot…” • -Yoo Jung • “My mummy cooks in the kitchen. I cook the rice bubbles. Don’t use the knives they cut my finger!” –Alexander • “You put the knife in the cupboard. I don’t use the knives just mummy. She cuts oranges and when she's not there daddy does it, not me its too sharp! - Talia • “ Mummy cooks on the stove, not me its too hot!” - Hudson V
