  13. Wine and Seafood Festival • January 22, 2011 • 20 Wineries • 11 Food Vendors • 17 Non Food Venders • City of Elma Tourism funds allocated $19,800 for the event • Attendance with Vendors, Volunteers, and guests estimated total of 2500 people.

  14. Cowboy Chili Cook Off • March 26, 2011 • 5 chili and 6 Salsa cook off contestants • Children’s play area • Bouncy Houses • Kids Games • Stick Horse Registrations • Music by Old Time Fiddlers

Heat on the Street • July 30 – 31 2011 • City of Elma Tourism funds $4,000 • Friday Night Cruise In Sponsored by Jason Olsen and Family • 100+ vehicles at Cruise-In • 500 Spectators Heat on the Street Car Show • 304 Vehicles Registrations • 4,500 Spectators • Food and Merchandise Vendors • Entertainment & Balloon Wizard Microtel Inn & Suites ~ Full Parkhurst Motel ~ Full Elma RV Park ~ Almost Full Travel Inn Resort ~ Almost Full

Buckaroo Days • September 17, 2011 • Total Attendance 1,000 – 1,500 • Pancake Breakfast at Elma Fire Department • Grand Parade • Chili Cook off • City of Elma Lodging tax funds awarded $5,000 • McGruff Kids ID at Sterling Bank • Farmers Market • Petting farm • Just for Fun Dog Show • Buckaroo jail headed by Jim Taylor • Posse Shoot Out • Vendors

Downtown Trick or Treat • Estimated 750 – 800 kids • Local businesses participated passing out candy • Chamber sponsored a pumpkin carving/painting contest • Elma Feed and Farm Supply had a shuttle for kids to go to their store and Elma Les Schwab Tire Center. • Les Schwab hosted a costume contest and gave away a bicycle as grand prize!

  22. Pictures with Santa • 2nd Annual Event • Hosted at Elma Feed & Farm Supply • Saturday 11 -3 and Wednesday 5-7 pm • Approximately 60 pictures taken • Lots of pets & kids

  23. Everyone in town loved the Christmas lights. Plans for next year include Christmas tree lighting, caroling & downtown activities.

Business of the Quarter • Elma Dental Clinic (David Blackett) • Liquor and the Like (Cindy Ann Tackett) • Elma Feed and Farm Supply (Al and Sandy Zepp) • Les Schwab Tires (Ralph Romero) • Presented to businesses that make an impact on the city and events as sponsors and volunteers and improving the looks of their business throughrenovations, painting, etc.
