Implementation Status to Date Of the more than 100 research projects, we are moving forward with 64 products in 42 distinct implementation efforts
Project Management and Tracking • 2-pronged, quarterly tracking system in place • MS Project • Narrative, qualitative report • Quarterly reporting structure • Universal template, Highlights, Challenges • Summary report per focus area per quarter • Key highlights from first quarterly report – Example • Approaching milestone of 50000 trained in L12/32 TIM • Champions and opinion leaders identified for C06 • Showcases, demos and workshops held for R04, R05, R09, R10 & R26

Implementation Assistance ProgramSo Far… • SHRP2 IAP projects underway in 48 states; more coming in round 4 • Applications Received (Rounds 1-4): 414 • from 49 State DOTs + DC DOT • from 38 MPOs • from 10 tribes, 6 “others,” FHWA/FLH • Awards (Rounds 1-3): 65 recipients received 146 awards (representing work on 180 projects*) • 44 State DOTs + DC DOT • 16 MPOs • 1 tribe, 3 “others,” FHWA/FLH • Beyond the IAP – successful implementation efforts ongoing in Traffic Incident Management (L12) – 41 states involved • Thus, all 50 states + DC are engaged in SHRP2 implementation
