  5. ECW Co Proposed Timber Sale • Reasons For Timber Sale • Activity listed in Forest Stewardship Plan for property • Stands are stagnant; growth has slowed and has seen increased mortality • Revenue

ECW Co Proposed Timber Sale • 62 acres total for proposed timber sale • Data gathered in woods then wood volume calculated using Two-Dog™ software in office. • An estimate of pulp wood and saw timber volume was developed • Most of stands considered for regeneration had material that would be classified as pulpwood.

  7. ECW Co Proposed Timber Sale • Drafting Bid Documents and Timber Sale Agreement to be used • Having Timber Sale Areas Reviewed By Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program • Developing Harvest Plan As Well As A Sedimentation and Erosion Control Plan • Developing Regeneration Plan

  8. ECW Co Proposed Timber Sale • Recommendations • Use part of revenue from sale to • 1) prepare the areas harvested for the next forest and • 2) purchase survey data from contractor who was hired by Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
