Jesus’ Birth By: Elizabeth
Jesus’ Birth Isaac - “Jesus means everything to me. He was born so that our sins are forgiven.”
Boy Jesus in the temple. Andie Portra- “Lord Jesus is always in his Father’s house— the temple.”
The Devil Testing Jesus Mattison - “This story relates to now because it would be hard to not eat for forty days. It would also be hard to not become tempted to do the things that the devil is telling you to do.”
Jesus heals many people. Ashley - “The story of Jesus heals many people applies to our lives today by helping and giving ourselves to others. When we do this we are imitating Jesus.”
Jesus chooses his first disciples. Alex - “You have to have faith that it will work out. When Jesus said that now you will bring in people instead of fish he meant that you will tell people about God.”
Love your enemies. Josh - “It makes me feel really good inside, and it’s nice to help others. If you are nice then you can make a new friend or friends.”
Jesus and the storm. By Caitlyn
Jesus and the storm. Meggie - “Just like the men in the story asking God to stop the storm, we asked him for his help when Katrina hit. Even people who didn’t seem like they had faith-- God stood by each and everyone. God helps us through all bad things even when we don’t ask.
Jesus’s parable-The Good Samaritan Nathan - “I enjoy being outdoors helping my neighbors shovel their sidewalks instead of playing. I like to help my family when they need me. I feel good when my friends need me. I like to help them too.”
Jesus’s parable-The Good Samaritan Rachel - “Being a good Samaritan is helping an elderly lady rake leaves, helping your neighbor and to love one another.”
Jesus enters Jerusalem Taylor - “I found the story of Jesus Enters Jerusalem very uplifting, but also sad. Since Jesus put on so many miracles the crowds cheered and shouted. Jesus knew the crowds that cheered would soon turn against him. To me this story meant that your very best friend could turn against you and become your enemy.”
Jesus eats with his disciples. Wyatt - “This is a picture of Jesus and his disciples eating the Last Supper. I drew Jesus in the middle because He gives the bread and wine.”
Jesus’ Death Austin -“He forgives our sins. So whenever we do something bad, it is forgiven. If you hurt someone you are forgiven. If you do anything bad you are forgiven. That’s how it affects our lives. It affects my life when I do something bad.”
Jesus is Alive! Erin -- “God sent Jesus to tell everyone about God’s love. He taught people to be kind and loving to others.”
