  3. Pre-Assessment Learning Osani (Love) Circle There was an anthropologist who proposed a game to the children of in an African tribe. He place a fruit basket near a tree and stated that whoever got to the tree first would win the sweet fruits. When told to run they all took each others hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats. When asked why they ran together when one could have had all the fruits for himself or herself they said: Ubuntu, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad?" 8. Learning Outcomes Fulfilled

  9. Learning Outcomes Fulfilled

  10. Supersymmetry symbol and basis for “Adinkramatics” Classical and Super Symmetric Adinkra Visual Correlations identified in association with the Akan Adinkra “EBAN” symbol of love, safety and security. Adinkras: A Graphical Technology for Supersymmetric Representation Theory” published in Physical Review D, vol. 71, Issue 6, id. 065002( 2004)

  11. What I Know To Be True The “healing process”…can only be initiated as a consequence of our engagement in deep thought/deep study. - Nana BaffourAmankwatia II

  12. What I Know To Be True • I am willing to step out on faith with the knowledge and understanding that all things are possible • I value committed collaboration to the well-being and success of all • My perspectives have value and merit • I create a sense of belonging and self-efficacy to naissance new experiences and opportunities • I am making meaning of the multiplicity I have to manage • I have within me what I need to make the change I want to see • Change is constant • That true professionalism requires attitudes and actions that are xenophilic in design, support and implementation

  13. What I Know To Be True “Courage may be the most important of all virtues because without it you can not practice any other virtue consistently.” - Maya Angelou

  14. Why I Am Proud • Taking Risks • Expanded participation in Shared-Governance on campus & statewide levels (ASCCC) • Expanded participation in administrative campus district decision making arenas (CRC & CIC) • Initiated new changes to ASCCC Minimum Qualifications Listing • Expanded myself beyond my comfort zone (technology literacy, proposal and grant writing, resolution author, finding my reflection in the work) • Feedback from Pre-Assessment • Fully embrace administrative roles • Re-Thinking Leadership • Balancing/sustaining the vision • Cultivate our own • Equity management starts with me

  15. Challenges “Once the job is once begun never leave it till it’s done. Do the job big or small do it well or not at all.” - Alexander O. Morrison III

  16. Adinkramatics-Discovered by Drs. M. Faux & S. Gates The Adinkra“EPA” symbolizes law, justice, slavery and captivity. It is a reminder of the nature of law and the discouragement of all forms of slavery. Their work in supersymmetry is an aspect of the field of physics.

  17. What Would I Do Differently If everything held constant I wouldn’t change the cohort I had the privilege of sharing this journey with. However, I would change how I managed my responses to several difficult, extremely demanding & simultaneous experiences during this journey. I have a better understanding of the what and howof my becoming.

  18. Being and Becoming… Patience and Focus… Embracing Growing Evolving!
