Bulik Professor Emeritus, University of Texas Academy of Health Science Education and President, LPI Global Consultants • Focuses on pioneering approaches to medical education that promote SDL and are also applicable to other areas of adult education; his research and program development on SDL in medical education was among the earliest in the country and has earned him many awards, such as: • Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) Innovative Program Award • Texas Innovation in Medical Education Award • Regional Medical Education Project and Presidential Curriculum Innovation Award • Regular presenter and author on SDL in medical education since 1996 • Founding member of the IJSDL Editorial Board
