  4. WHAT DO ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS DO? Environmental Engineers solve problems with the environment. One big problem Environmental Engineers have is with pollution. Clean Air Air pollution

  5. POLLUTION Another pollution problem Environmental engineers run into is Water Pollution. Most of the world’s water isn’t clean. In fact, about 1% of the world’s water is drinkable. Environmental Engineers work to make systems that can clean water and make it drinkable!

  6. WATER CLEANING There are a few different ways to clean water. Other times, water needs chemicals to properly clean it. Sometimes you can use filters which will catch the dirty things in water and clean it.

  7. Now we have a problem for you!!

  8. MAKE A FILTER! We’re going to help you with this one... We’re going to take different materials and put them together to make a water filter. Then we’ll see how well the filters work!

  9. JUST ONE RULE… NO DRINKING THE WATER!!
