  3. Definition of the MOF in the MoU Sharing of Contributions Nota Bene: The sum of the NA62 Maintenance and Operation Fund (MOF) contributions should not exceed 500 kCHF per year. NA62 - FRC 2nd Meeting

Definition of the MOF in the MoU A partial list of the main items payable from the MOF include: • Detector related cost: • Magnet • Gas • Cooling • Safety • Technical Support • LKR Cryogenic Controls • DCS Support • Secretariat • Computing • Tier 0 services • Maintenance • Licences • System Management • General Services • Cooling, Ventilation, Distribution • Transport • Survey NA62 - FRC 2nd Meeting

  5. MOFContributions in 2011 22’400 received in 2012 In-kind contribution received in Jan. 2012 MOF Budget 2011: 330’000,- (312’640,-) Special Contribution for 1st .Run: 70’000,- (65’800,-) Total: 400’000,- (378,440,-) Reminder: Run shifted to 2012 NA62 - FRC 2nd Meeting

  9. MOF Payments 2012 Until end September 2012 MOF expenses have strongly increased in 2012 due to intense installation work. This was anticipated and partly covered by the positive carry-over from the previous years. Although, the payments will exceed the credits of 500kCHF (budget + carry over ), we don’t foresee significant cash-flow problems. NA62 - FRC 2nd Meeting
