Identifying Researchers • The unit contact persons will receive the following material: • Identifier Form to be completed by each and every researcher (as defined in the instructions), and to be returned to the unit contact person. • Correction Forms for researchers to fill in if needed. • Mapping of Staff Forms, for classification of the researchers by status, to be completed by the unit contact person. • Lists of department personnell on 1.10.2008 and registered post-graduate students, to help the identification and classification of researchers. (Note that the degree information on personnell list is not necessarily valid.)

Collecting of bibliometricbackground data 1 • Each researcher (mentioned on the department’s Mapping of Staff Form) is asked to do the following: • Go to the address http://www.otalib.fi/tkk/julkaisee/tkkrae.html and retrieve the information regarding your publications and other scientific activities currently in TKKjulkaisee and TKKtoimii databases

Collecting of bibliometricbackground data 2 • Check the accuracy of the information • If correct, please inform your unit contact person • If the information is faulty, use the corrections forms, where you can make the needed changes. • Send the correction form(s) to your unit contact person, who forwards the collected information to the university assessment coordinator by inserting the material into an electronic archieve.
