  3. OBJECTIVES OF THE CAMP • TO HAVE FUN • To build up the child’s confidence and to make him/her independent • To help the children become more responsible during and after the camp • To develop team building skills

  4. AUTHORISATON Beach authority Atics: we have been granted permission by the Beach Authority and Atics company to use the toilets during the night – the key will remain with us. Police: we have been granted permission by the police force to camp and they will also provide police patrol during the camp – day and night. COAST GUARDS: the coast guards will give a talk on safety measures and precautions at sea to the children and will also monitor our swimming activities during the camp.

  5. SAFETY MEASURES Spraying Solution against Mosquitoes…. 1. Safety buoy while swimming in the sea with the “animateurs”. 2. Presence of Coast Guards during swimming activities.

A raincoat (the kind that can be folded and carried in the backpack). 8. Pyjamas 9. Towels (2 big) and 1 face towel 10. Swimsuit 11. Toothbrush/ tooth paste 12. Soap/ Deodorant/ Perfume 13. Cap/ Hat 14. Sun block cream 15. Comb/ Hair brush 16. Pencil case 17. MUG/ PLATE/ FORK in melamine or hard plastic only. 18. Insect repellent spray/cream/lotion/ VERY IMPORTANT 19. Plastic bags to pack away dirty clothes. PLEASE, PLEASE LABEL ALL BELONGINGS NO VALUABLES – JEWELLERY, MOBILE PHONES, MONEY, GAMEBOY, I-PAD OR TABLET OR PHABLET.

  9. CAMP DE VACANCES 2014 PROGRAMME Wednesday 9th April 2014 10.30: Arrival of campers, setting up tents and discover the camp site. Labelling of personal items, rules of the camping activity 12.00: Lunch (Packed lunch from home) 13.00: “Crie de guerre”/ war cry and the cross game (GROUP POINTS) 13.30: Campers organising their games using the following equipment: (Pétanque/ Bocce balls, tennis volley, modified beach volley, frisbee and Vortex throwing). 14.30: Swimming (whole group). GROUP: ONE will prepare the afternoon break 15.00: AFTERNOON BREAK - Group: ONE 15.30: Football and Eggball match on the beach. 16.30: SHOWER TIME - Group: TWO – Dinner Preparation 17.30: Flag design for each tent 18.00: Tent inspection (POINTS). 19.00: DINNER - Group: TWO 20.00: SHOW TIME by the “animateurs” 21.00: HOT CHOCOLATE AND SLEEPING TIME

  10.  Thursday 10th April 2014 6.30: Wake up and morning fitness activities. 7.00: Morning shower - Group: Three – Breakfast preparation 8.00: Breakfast and TENT INSPECTION (POINTS). 9.00: Sand Castle competition (GROUP POINTS) 10.00: GROUP GAMES (“Casse-cote”, hooking game, rat and rabbits, nature display) - Group: Four – preparing for break 10.30: BREAK - Group: FOUR 11.00: Guessing game (GROUP POINTS) 11.30: The balloon game (GROUP POINTS) - Group: ONE - Lunch preparation 12.00: LUNCH - Group: ONE 13.00: FREE TIME 13.30: Talk by COAST GUARDS (Time to be confirmed) 14.00: Obstacle Course (GROUP POINTS) 14.30: GROUP GAMES: Capture the flag tournament - Group: TWO – Afternoon break preparation 15.00: BREAK - Group: TWO 15.15: Quad biking, the treasure game, slippers game and horse and jockey game. 16.30: SHOWER TIME - Group: THREE – Dinner Preparation 17.30: TENT INSPECTION (POINTS) and Group preparing for the show. 18.30: NIGHT TREASURE HUNT (GROUP POINTS). 19.30: DINNER - Group: THREE 20.30: SHOW TIME BY CAMPERS 21.30: HOT CHOCOLATE AND SLEEPING TIME

  11.  Friday 11th April 2014 6.30: Wake up and morning fitness activities. 7.00: Morning shower - Group: FOUR – Breakfast preparation 8.00: Breakfast and TENT INSPECTION (POINTS) 9.00: GROUP GAMES: Over- under relay, sticky popcorn game, filling the bottles, bring objects back to house. 10.00: TUG OF WAR (GROUP POINTS) 10.30: SWIMMING TIME (Whole group) 11.00: ARRIVAL OF PARENTS 11.30: CERTIFICATE CEREMONY AND LUNCH 13.00: Children leaving camp site. “Animateurs” dismantling tents.
