  2. The Sources • The three sources that we will be looking at today are • Historical Dictionary of the George W. Bush Era (book) • George W. Bush, Television News, and Rationales for the Iraq War (Article) • http://www.georgewbush.org/ (website)

  3. Where did these come from? • The book came from the MU Library Catalog. • The article came from Marshall’s Academic Search Premier (one of Marshall’s popular article databases). • The website was found with a Google search.

  4. How Credible is Any of This? • Both the article and the book appear to be credible and worth looking into. It also helps that both came from PhDs with relevant degrees to the subject matter. • The website contains a very obvious bias, but after further research was holding this bias for parody.

  5. The Book • The book seemed credible, and after a quick skim and scan it appeared the author and editor wanted it to be mostly free from bias. The main problem was that the book’s author upon further research appeared to have a bias against current President, Barrack Obama. These are some pictures that were found on his site.

  6. The Article • The article came from a credible source, and was peer reviewed. • The article also stated that it was trying to take an issue and observe it with computer-assisted analytics, which made it seem like the article was to be based in fact.

  7. The Website • This was an example of very bad and biased source. • It used heavy sarcasm, and negative political caricatures to get its point across. • Lets look at the site. http://www.georgewbush.org/
