  2. Teacher Information! • Have students take “What is Range” Quiz prior to presentation, asking them to do their best to answer the questions • Then go through slides and discuss “What is Range” – all answers are presented • The final slide gives an opportunity to go through the quiz and discuss the correct answers as a class using Quiz Key • Necessary materials: • 4.1a_What-is-range-QUIZ.doc • 4.1b_What-is-Range_PPTguide.doc

  8. What is rangeland? • Uncultivated land dominated by native plants: grasses, grass-like plants, forbs, or shrubs. • All land that is not farmland, dense forest, barren desert or land covered by solid rock, concrete, or glaciers
