    3. 3 MTT - Considerations Instructor Requirements – LOA for travel, lodging, on-site transportation, per-diem (1 – Site Recon, 3 – actual MTT). Pre-requisites – MOS, Rank, 30 students Max Deviation of training waiver - IOT use Min. Safe Distance standoff (MSD) with breaching charges Site Requirements – Classroom, Demo and Shotgun Ranges Class V – Demo and Shotgun rounds Targetry, Supplies, Printing

    4. 4 Pre-Requisites Soldier(s) must be in the MOS of 21B, 18C, or 89D. The Rank requirement is CPL – CPT. There is no prior schools requirement. There is no line score pre-requisite to attend. MOS waivers are available through the DOTLD. Soldier(s) must meet the “prior demo knowledge” pre-requisite to attend the Urban Breachers Course. This requirement is satisfied with a memorandum signed by an O-5 or higher (see example). Unless extenuating circumstances require a special exception, the MOS’s eligible for waiver are Infantry, and Cav Scout.

    9. 9 A platoon mission utilizing the breaching charges and mechanical breaching techniques taught during the class. (conducted in a MOUT environment).

    10. 10 Mon 0900 - 1700 Classroom = foundational classes Tue 0900 - 1700 Classroom = foundational classes Wed 0900 - 1700 Shotgun Range Thur 0900 - 1700 Classroom = Explosive charges, performance eval Fri 0900 - 1700 Demo Range = interior/exterior doors and windows (1 lb max) Mon 0900 - 1700 Classroom = Explosive charges, performance eval Tue 0900 - 1700 Demo Range = exterior doors, plywood walls, chain-link fence, and concrete walls(10.5 lb max) Wed 0900 - 1700 Classroom = Written Exam Thur 0900 - 1700 Demo Range - FEX int/ext doors, window(1 lb max) Fri 0900 - 1700 Classroom = Retest, Graduation, Outbrief *The course is 10 training days. Units usually choose not to train over the weekend, but this is not a course requirement.
