  1. Ribeiro C. Nei, Nunokawa H. First Rio Meeting SACLAY Phisics beyond Standard Model 4-15 december Rio de Janeiro-Brazil Non standard interation in neutrino Oscilation

  2. Motivation • We some evidence that neutrino interage no only weak interaction (Z and W boson), but so u and d quarks. • this Non standard Neutrino interation(NSNI) can be mediated particles beyond standard Model (BSM) by exchange of new particles as in supersymetric models (G.G. Ross et al.) • This NSNI can open door to BSM physics.

  4. Introduction • NSI of neutrinos affect their propagation in matter and the magnitude of the effect depend on the interplay mass-induced neutrino oscilation features in matter and those genuinely engendered by NSI. • Their implication have been explored in variety of context involving solar neutrino, atmosphere, astophysics source, reator and aceleration and future experiment (Neutrino factory)

  5. Question unknown about Neutrinos oscilation • there is strong evidence neutrinos has mass and mixing(Nunokawa's lecture). • It is very important search sensibility about unknown parameters: • massa hierarchy (normal or inverse) • Are Majorana neutrino or Dirac Neutrino? • (CHOOZ and Palo Verde) • Cp Violation Phase?

  6. Effetive Lagrangean • We can interpretation NSI by Efetive Lagrangean: • In phenomenology term we can put a extra term in usual Hamiltonian : • where

  7. Upper Bound for NSI Phenomenology Parameter • Some phenomenology parameter has some experimentally constraint: • In general way we can constraint the bound experimentally by best fit (chi-square). • The strong evidence for oscilations of atmospheric neutrinos has been used to set upper bounds on NSI with d-quark and u-quark (M. Guzzo et al) in matter.

  8. Upper Bound for NSI Phenomenology Parameter • To obtain such bounds for neutrino interactions one must convert from the bounds on charged lepton processes making SU(2) symmetry(S. Bergman et al). In this way the following bounds on neutrino NSI are derived from pure leptonic processes: • In ref(S Berbman et al) have for channel we have:

  9. Analitic treatment • Solved the motion equation for 3-d is very difficult (P.Huber et al), but we can obted in aproximation in 2-d(N. Kitazawa). • The New physics appear a form

  10. NSI of neutrinos in acereration: NoVA, T2K and Neutrino Factories • The NSI effect is sensivity in long baseline experiment (AL=1): • T2K(L=295km) -AL=3/20 has little possibility! • NovA (L=810km ) • Minos(L=735km) • T2KK(L=1000km)

  11. Preliminy Results

  12. Future Pespective • Investigate more this effect in T2K + NovA (Ciprirano, Nunokawa in preparation). • Looking for more details about this experiment parameter. • Solve the open questions in neutrino physics with this new interaction.
