  2. Education was usually for the upper and middle classes for boys • Before sent to school children were taught respect and manners

  3. For boys from ages 5 to 7 went to a petty school • Classes for a petty school weren't in a school but in the teachers house • The main subjects taught at a petty school were reading and writing English, they had to learn catechism and get lessons on behavior This is a petty school ( Google images)

  4. Grammar schools taught by ushers are for the ages of 7 to 10. While grammar schools taught by masters are for ages 10 to 14 • An example of a school week would be • Mondays, examination on Sundays previous sermon • Tuesday- Thursday, a basic curriculum • Friday, they have examinations and punishments • Saturday, they study catechism and arithmetic

  5. Boys attend University after grammar schools, Oxford University and Cambridge University were the most popular • University taught them the Faculty of arts, liberal arts, theology, medicine and law This is Oxford University ( Google images)
