The Definition of Interdependence • Interdependence is when you depend on yourself and someone else to do their part in the task. • It is the opposite of independent, which is where you only depend on yourself to do your work or task.
Examples • When you’re assigned a group project in school • When you’re on a sports team like a soccer team, etc. • In the world, we depend on other things that come from different places because objects may not be fully manufactured in the same area. There might have to be something included in an object that might have to be made in Japan, Switzerland, Colombia, or other places. This picture below shows how each area of the country contributes products that other places might not have.
