  3. We know that one of your biggest concerns is making sure that your child eats well. TCU in partnership with Sodexo provides excellent dining choices. So let’s take a moment to review the dining pass plans and talk about how they work. 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010

  4. Open 7 days a week, Market Square is the main dining facility located in the Brown Lupton University Union (BLUU). It is a Dine-In Only facility. Market Square contains 7 separate dining stations with a large variety of choices. It can be described as a “food mall”. Sports Grill complete with TVs & pool table located in the BLUU.   7. TCU offers 4 dining pass plans with unlimited daily access to our main dining facility, Market Square. Students present their ID cards to be swiped in order to enter Market Square. No monetary value is attached to the swipe. Think about this section of the dining plan as your child’s backpack full of meals. Backpack = Swipes Dining pass plans are designed so that students eat the majority of their meals on campus in Market Square, the main dining facility Market Square is our main dining facility. It is a dine-in only facility (no take-out) that features 7 food stations all offering a variety of options. You can think of Market Square as a “food mall.” 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010

  8. All 7 TCU dining pass plans contain an element called “Frog Pass Campus Cash.” Think of this as pocket change. As the name suggests, Frog Pass Campus Cash can be used to make purchases from any dining facility on campus. Frog Pass Campus Cash can be used by a student to purchase a meal at Market Square for a visitor. TCU has partnered with Off-Campus Advantage to establish relationships with local restaurants. 6 of the 7 TCU dining pass plans also contain an element called “Frog Pass Frog Bucks.” Think of this as pocket change that can be used both on TCU’s campus and at participating off-campus restaurants. Right Pocket “Pocket Change” is Frog Pass Bucks Among those restaurants who accept Frog Pass Bucks: Chili’s, Chipotle Mexican Grill. Hoffbrau Steak House, Smoothie King, Buffalo Brothers Pizza, McDonalds Dutch’s Hamburgers, Frogberry Guiltless Yogurt, Red Cactus, Perrotti’s Pizza, Potbelly’s, Which Wich.   10. Frog Pass Silver $1975 This is the default meal plan for residential students. If you do not chose one this one will be assigned. Unlimited daily swipes into Market Square “All you can eat-every time!” A swipe may be used for breakfast or lunch at SubConnection. (This is the convenience swipe option) Swipes may only be used by the owner of the meal plan. This meal plan will be assigned to all resident students who do not choose a dining pass plan. $ 200 Frog Pass Campus Cash “Pocket Change” used to make purchases only at TCU Campus dining facilities. *Please note that this plan does not include any Frog Pass Bucks. Frog Pass Pick 3 3 days per week of unlimited access to Market Square No pre-established days, simply swipe your card to begin The plan resets every Sunday night $1300 Pick any three days of the week to have unlimited access to Market Square. NO Convenience Swipe option with this plan Swipes may only be used by the owner of the meal plan. $ 100 Frog Pass Campus Cash “Pocket Change” used to make purchases only at TCU Campus dining facilities $100 Frog Pass Bucks “Pocket change” used to make purchases on or off campus. • With this plan a student can eat an unlimited amount of times in Market Square 3 days per week. • No need to pre-select the days, simply swipe your card and the day of unlimited access begins. • This plan is only available to: • Junior and Senior students living in Worth Hills (Greek Housing) • Students living in TCU residential apartments Non-Resident Students 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010

  17. Convenience Swipe Options As an added benefit, students may use a convenience swipe to purchase a breakfast and or lunch alternative at TCU’s own sub shop, the SubConnection. SubConnection is located in the Smith building, on the far northeast corner of campus near the business, library, engineering and nursing schools. Note: Using a convenience swipe temporarily “freezes” the swipe plan. Students will have to wait at least 1 hour after using a convenience swipe for breakfast and at least 3 hours after using a convenience swipe for lunch before they can swipe into Market Square. Convenience Swipes are available on all TCU meal plans with the exception of the Pick 3 plan. *SubConnection is changing in 2011! It will server burritos! 3-4-2010 3-4-2010 3-4-2010

  18. How do I choose a meal plan? • Residential Students…. • are to purchase a meal plan each semesterResidential Students choose a meal plan as a part of the housing contract. Please visit www.rlh.tcu.edu for more information. Non-resident Students can choose a meal plan beginning on August 8, 2011. If you wish to have a meal plan for the Fall 2011 semester, log onto my.tcu.educlick on "Helpful Links"click on "Meal Plans-Commuter Students"make a selection from the list and click on "save"

Answers to FAQs • Non-resident students can purchase any of the dining pass plans. • Residential students are required to purchase a dining pass plan each semester. • Swipes in plans with unlimited swipes may only be used by the student who owns the plan. Frog Pass Campus Cash or Frog Pass Frog Bucks can be used to pay for a visitor’s meal. • Swipes in plans with limited amounts of swipes can be used by the owner of the swipes however they wish, meaning that they can choose to use a swipe to pay for a visitor’s meal. (Frog Pass Limited 50 or Frog Pass Limited 75.) • Unused Frog Pass Frog Bucks and/or Frog Pass Campus Cash will “roll” from the fall semester to the spring semester. • Dining Pass Plans and any funds associated with them (Frog Pass Frog Bucks and/or Frog Pass Campus Cash) are non-refundable. (Use it or lose it.) • Additional Campus Cash can be added to an account by having the student visit the ID Center. The funds will be added to their ID card and billed on the next billing cycle. • Additional Frog Bucks can be purchased: • online using a MasterCard, Discover or American Express (TCU does not accept Visa) • by taking a check made payable to TCU to the Cashier in Sadler Hall, room 104. A receipt will be given in return.
