Smooth endoplasmic reticulum – makes and packages fats • Rough endoplasmic reticulum – makes proteins • Ribosomes – make proteins • Vacuoles – empty cargo containers • Vesicles – carrier of solutes within the cell; could be storage or for movement to cell side for exocytosis ORGANELLES – CONT’D
