  1. Invitation Dear Colleagues, We would like to take the opportunity to invite you to join us on October 8th, 2008 for the first KRA Learning & Assessment Forum of the 08/09 Academic year. The Forum will provide the opportunity to network with colleagues who have shared research interests. It will also create an occasion for voicing your thoughts about how the KRA can best support your research interests. During this Forum we would like to introduce you to our new KRA Coordinator, Dr. Kevin Chung, as well as discuss some of the past and present activities of the KRA. Colleagues will be invited to hear about collaborative research currently underway at the Institute. Further, we will invite interested colleagues to discuss and share ideas about future research opportunities in the following areas: Literacy Learning Social and Psychoemotional Education Motivation and Education Assessment and Education We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, October 8th, 2008 from 12:30 – 1:30 in Room D3-G/F-07.
