  12. Time to talk about “Request” items…. • “Request” items are generally short-life or perishable items that need to be distributed quickly, such as fresh produce, breads and dairy. • You can “request” these items, and we will provide them IF they are in stock at the time your order is filled. • Most, but not all Request items are NSMF. An exception is shown below, Yogurt, which is SMF. It is very important to carefully read every description! • To order a Request item, put a “1” in the Order Qty box. This is a place-holder that tells us that you want this item.Later, you will be able to tell us specifically how many pounds of the Requestitem(s) you want. • Request pounds or fees are not included in your running total for weight, and arenot counted as part of the 500 lbminimum (because you may not ultimately get them.)

  13. REMEMBER… Before you move to the next page of the shopping list, be sure to clickADD TO CART or you will lose everything you selected on that page!

  14. Step 5: Finalize your order • When you are done adding things to your list, go to the top right corner area and click on Check Out • This screen will come up – explained on next page

  15. Step 5: Finalize your order (continued) Weight of your order (not including Request items). Must be at least 500 lbs for a delivery. This is the cost of your order. (does not include delivery fee or Request SMF product) Find and select your appointment type, date and time Enter your Request items and amounts you want. Use the format shown, which is the item number followed by a backslash and then the pounds wanted. (This should be the LAST thing you do before submitting the cart. If you do something else before submitting you will lose these notes!) TIP: Some people find it helpful to copy this info and paste into another document for short-term safekeeping.

  16. Step 6: Submit your order • When you are satisfied that everything is correct, click on“Submit Cart”. This “holds” your selected items for you. • If you close the order before submitting, you may lose some of those items to other shoppers. • An order number will be assigned and a printable list of all your items will come up.

  17. Step 7 (optional) : Edit your order • You can re-open and then change your order while still in the “ordering window” time frame. • Hover on the Order Options tab and click on Order Management. • When your order shows a little pencil, you can click on that and it will reopen. (After first submitting, ittakes a little while for the pencilto appear.) • Once you’ve made changes, be sure to SUBMIT CART again. • If there is no little pencil, it is either too soon or too late to make any changes to the order.

  18. Now what? If you are picking up: If you’re getting a delivery: • At your appointment time, check in at 2802 Dairy Drive. Here is the entrance…. • And here is the loading area – you will be able to back your vehicleup to the doors. • The day before, you will get a calladvising you of the estimated timeframe of your delivery (for instance, between 9 am and 10 am.) • Please have volunteers there and ready when truck arrives!
