  3. CITY’S LOCATION The relative location is 27⁰ 39’42 N Which is the latitude, and the longitude Is 30⁰ 54’20 E. El Amarna is Located by the Nile, in the region of El Minia. The city is 58 kms and 38 mls In the north . Cairo is 312 kms away From El Amarna

El- Amarna’s Long History Pharaoh Akhetatan………. 400 tablets in cuneiform was found in El Amarna El Amarna is a made up name, it’s real name is Akhetatan, the city of Akhetatan, Pharaoh Amenhotep IV built the city in cliffs. At first the capital of Akhetatan was Dynasty XVIII the king, the so- called Heretic king. THIS WAS THE HISTORY OF AKHETATAN.

  7. Sites There are a lot of tombs you could look at. For example there is a Bedouin tribe tomb. There is another sight called Desert Safari Adventures, Im telling you it’s beautiful. The tombs there is so beautiful. HOTELS There is an Al Nabila Cairo Hotel which you need $67. There is Windsodor Hotel which costs $35 dollars. There is a magnificent one called Pharaoh’s Palace which costs $13. They’ll have Buissness Centers, Fitness Centers, Breakfast, Hi-Spi-Wi-Fi, Room Service, Shuttle Bus Service, suites, swimming pools, and a homless people shelter
