  1. Fredric Chopin He was born on March 1, 2012 in ZelazowaWola, Poland He was a virtuoso, pianist and composer who made his first composition at the age of 10.

  2. Childhood Composed two polonaises at the age of 7 and was featured in Polish newspapers. He gave his first piano recital at the age of 8

  5. Polonaises A slow dance of Polish origin in triple time. A piece of music for this dance or in its rhythm. Chopin’s 24 preludes, one in each of the major and minor key, were composed over a five year period between 1835 and 1839.

  6. Waltz • It is dance in triple time performed by a couple who as a pair turn rhythmically around and around as they progress around the dance floor. • It is used informally to mean something that presents no difficulties and can be accomplished with little effort

  8. Paris He moved to Paris because of the political instability in Warsaw Poland. He was diagnosed with tuberculosis on October 17th, 1849, in Paris. He is remembered as a composer and pianist who came up with his own style.
