  2. Business Description • The Get Well Soon Clinic is a new medical facility opening in the Houston area offering affordable medical care and the convenience of an onsite pharmacy.

Business Description • The Get Well Soon Clinic will • focus on preventative care and minor illness diagnosis. • offer appointments at times convenient to working adults in the evenings and on weekends. • accept several types of insurance, and have a low cost payment plan for those without insurance. • consist of a small administrative staff, two pharmacist and four physicians.

Business Public Awareness • The Get Well Soon Clinic will need to continually attract new patients through superior medical care, exceptional services, convenient hours of operation, low prices and community involvement. • The staff has decided to create a website to advertise these features to the public.

Website Goals • Goal 1: General Information • The Clinic website will have general information such as location, contact numbers and hours of operation. • The type of medical care provided by the facility will be detailed on the website. • The website will also introduce the public to the physicians and staff and their credentials.

Website Goals • Goal 2: Pre-visit Information and Forms • Having pre-visit information and forms available online will cut down on administrative tasks as patients arrive. • Posted forms may include general health and release forms that a patient may print at home, fill out and bring or fax into the office. • Information may include insurance and other payment option information.

Website Goals • Goal 3: The Pharmacy • The Clinic staff would like a page that includes information about their onsite pharmacy. • It is desired that this page also include some type of online order form so that patients can place prescription and refill orders online to be ready for pickup upon their arrival. • Doctors may also use this form to place orders for patients already in the office.

  8. Conclusion • By offering general information, quick and easy forms, insurance and payment information, and online pharmacy services the staff of the Get Well Soon Clinic hopes that their website will both attract new patients and be useful to current patients.
