  3. FACT…! • There is… • God’s Plan • and then there’s • Man’s Plan

  4. This Young Generation is… • The finest generation… • The Most Media literate • More intellectual • Stronger & more Mature • More rounded & grounded • With good knowledge base • Genetically & Biologically more advanced

  5. BUT… A paradox in terms • The most destructive generation • WHY? • They are the most self-destructive • Holds the most created Stats

  6. Some Stats… • Teen Violence is up 186% in 10 years • 1:16 teenagers assaulted • Suicide second leading cause of Death (15-24 yr olds) • Alcohol and related deaths is the leading cause of Death (alcohol poisoning) • 73% binge drink by 17 yrs old

  7. #2 – Suicide - leading cause of Death #1 – Ultimate act of Violence… Date Rape Crises Pregnancies Post Abortion 69% teenage abortions 1:3 will be criminally assaulted before they die More than 80% high school girls admit to be sexually harassed Expected to put up with it! GIRLS #1 Reason why Girls Drink: “I need to relax, not sure of myself” and “To breakdown the barriers!”

  8. BOYS • Leading cause of death – 21 yr olds • 10 – 15 yr Quadrupled (in last 20 yrs) • 1:4arecommitting DATE RAPE • Heaviest drinking Generation • Drink because their “Hommies” do it

  10. Decided to move Ethical & Moral Standards • to the LEFT • Do Your Own THING • Look Out For #1 • Moved away from Community • To More increased Individualism • If It FEELS GOOD – DO IT! • Started the SEXUAL REVOLUTION

  11. 20 yrs ago 20 yrs later Herpes Chlamydia 2 Venereal Diseases – both were curable 51 V.D’s – 2 will kill 7 Types – Incurable - Passed down to baby Months before known - Scars the Fallopian tubes GIRLS (Contd.)Recipients of Sexual Revolution

  14. What came NEXT… • 1st time in the history of Civilized Nations • White Supremist Movement • HERITAGE FRONTS

  15. Translates into… • Recruiting Hatred… • Jews - Color - Race - Gender • High Schools Rioting with Hatred • Assaults on others – Causing Death

  17. 60’s Generation - Debate • Law Makers wandering how to STOP the trends… • But it may impact… • The Individual’s Freedom or Speech

  21. …The Love of Money • The Media is a Multi-$Billion industry • 30 seconds of advertising - $Billion • This Generation has the… • HIGHEST DISPOSABLE INCOME! • More Shaped & Sophisticated

  22. Advertising FACTS… • Designed to create desires in your mind… • Manipulate desires into NEEDS • Young People • 15,000 to 22,000 hrs - Television • By age 7 yrs – 5,000 hrs (approx)

The Comparison… • Graduates of High School: • 10,000 hrs in the classroom • 360,000 commercials • 100,000 – girls (clothing & cosmetics) • 100,000 – What to drink (premature) • 400,000 acts of violence • 40,000 murders (by age 18 yrs) • More violence than if you were a soldier in the Vietnam War!

  24. Examples • Advertising Income: • Home Improvement - $850K / 30 sec • Super-Bowl - $1.25M / 30 sec • Seinfeld - $1.5M / 30 sec • Married with Children - $450K /30 sec – ran for 14 yrs, 6 days/wk, 2 times/day

  25. Married with Children… • Mother: • Depicted as a piece of meat • Stupid and ignorant • Wears tight revealing clothes • No self-respect as a mother or as a woman

  27. Married with Children…(contd) • Girl: • The Ultimate Tramp! • Use men everyday (Married or Single) • Ultra Stupid • No Morals & No Values • Ambition – work as a waitress and to Have kids from total Rock Band

  28. Did you Know…? • Anorexia: • #1 Medical problem with teenage girls • Being defined by what is on the outside of them! • Impossible to live up to! • …All because of ADVERTISING

  29. Another PARADOX… • This same Generation would… • Send Money to save ONE Acre for the Rain Forest • Send Money for starving Children oversees • Even send money for Adopt-A-Child program

  30. Date Rape - Revisited • 20 yrs ago – 1:7 before graduated HS • 10 yrs ago – 1:5 “ “ “ • 2 yrs ago - 1:4 “ “ “ • 1:4 boys are doing the date rape • Remember these are your sisters, girlfriends, wives even your daughters

  32. Women of the PARADOX • 80 yrs ago – Women could not: • Own a Business • Vote • Be a Lawyer or Doctor • Go to College or University

  33. Women of the PARADOX (Contd.) • Yet Women are: • The GREATEST group of Followers… • 93% drink because their boyfriend drinks • 87% who don’t drink – because their boyfriends do not drink! The Bond of Friendship - greater than FAMILY

  34. Why Friends more than…Family? • “My parents don’t understand me!” • Or • “My parents don’t understand my friends!”

  35. Rebellion in Motion • “As my Friends are…so am I” • I smoke grass…I am a Rebel! • Therefore, “I’m COOL!” • But…! • “E” - jellifies the fluid in the spinal column! • All for the sake of LOOKS & FEELINGS

  36. So…The Blue Zone? • #1 Male suicide • High School Drop-outs • Chronic Welfare • Chronic Unemployment • 1 student in every College/University drop out daily • Binge Drinking

  37. Blue Zone (Contd.) • 80% Date rapes happen with alcohol • #1 Causal link to Wife Battering • #1 Child Abuse • #1 Birth Defect • Alcohol - Desensitizing Process of Violence • Heaviest Drinking Generation!

  38. Media’s Part…? • Media does play a part! • Issues of Violence - More than punching - All Bullies are cowards

  39. Boys: Cut-up girls Demean sexually Girls: Cut-up other girls Getting into Cliques… Your silence allowed it to go on! Don’t want to be called a “RAT” Crimes of Commission & Omission

  40. The Challenge • Are you at fault? • Will you take action against the problem? • The only person who can make a looser… is You! • You were born perfect and fair • You’re either a part of the problem or part of the solution
