  1. The Pokémon Club A promotional PowerPoint by Rhys Kendall

  2. What is the Pokémon Club? • The Pokémon Club was my own idea. The reason I created it is because I felt that Pokémon isn’t talked about much in school, and I wanted to change that. This PowerPoint is the ultimate tool for reading up on the Pokémon Club’s goals, its activities, and more!

  3. Flag • Our flag, with the • Mascots.

  4. Mascots • Keldeo: • Colt PKMN • Water/Fighting type • Reason: • Because of his role in • The movie: “Kyurem and • The Swords of Justice” Resolute Form

  5. Mascots (cont’d) • Espurr: • Restraint PKMN • Psychic Type • Reason: • This Pokémon has an • enormous following on the • Internet, do to its design.

  6. Mascots (cont’d) • Goomy • Soft Tissue PKMN • Dragon Type • Reason: • Like Espurr, Goomy has • an enormous following • on the internet, due to its • design and demeanor.

  7. MASCOTS (CONT’D) • Hawlucha • Wrestling PKMN • Reason: • Because Hawlucha is probably one of the best Pokémon designs ever. It is a bird that is a luchador that is a Pokémon. Also, it looks like Strong Bad from Homestar Runner.

  8. Where’s Pikachu? • A question one might ask is: “Why isn’t Pikachu one of the mascots?” This is because I wanted something original, and to play to the internet fandom.

  9. Meetings: • Every Thursday after school • Location: Library or someplace else • Sponsor: Somebody dedicated, funny, and a good helper.

  10. Activities • Team evaluation: • People comment on each other's teams. • Gameplay: • People connect with each other with the actual games. (Possible registration required) • Anime’: • Watching of the actual Anime’

  11. Activities (cont’d) • Trading Cards: • People play with the trading cards • Fan talk: • Fans just talk about Pokémon.

  12. Corkboard • Inspired by “My Pokémon Ranch” and the letters page from Marvel’s “The Transformers”, the corkboard is a place where people hang up a trade request. It could be a Pokémon in the game, a trading card, or something else Pokémon related. You can even ask questions!

  13. Corkboard card example These cards can be mass-printed

  14. How it works: • “Name” obviously your name and/or friend code (ds and onwards only) • “Wants” states the Pokémon the person wants, in which game, and some other details. • “Offers” states what the person will give for the Pokémon • “Questions?” a question the person has. Entirely OPTIONAL.

  15. Other things: • At the end of each month, the Pokémon club will have a deluxe screening of a Pokémon film. The reason why it would work on Thursdays in the library is because it won’t interfere with Anime’ club. People can bring snacks, drinks, among other things. COMMENTS CAN BE MADE ON THE FILM.

  16. Benefits • The Pokémon club will be an amazing addition to Frost’s already great after-school program. It is intended to be a fun, safe place where Pokémon fans can relax and be themselves! Also, it’s a chance to meet more people with the same interests. Gotta Catch Em’ all After School!
