No free type • Input credit costs and term dates. • Mandatory requirement postponed until 1 Oct 15. Feature can be used now. • Reduces errors on TA documents • Forums • Allow information sharing (policy / new updates) • Ask questions (no student Personally Identifiable Information (PII) • Base Access Request • Required to visit Air Force bases • Submit requests, view status, upload student attendee list • Messaging System • Allows secure messaging to be sent between academic institutions and bases • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) • Ability to identify STEM degrees so Airman can search • 524 currently loaded in the AI Portal

AI Portal Upgrade31Jan2015 • AI’s will be able to add + / - when updating grades • AI’s will have the ability to change grades • For courses conducted at their school • Student education goal responsibility will remain at base education centers • AI’s were scheduled to be responsible for education goals 1 Oct 2014 • StreamlinedBase Access Request • School refund process • Submitted in AI Portal, identify student(s), attach refund receipt • No more emailing refund receipt to Central Office or MyCAA billing

  9. DoDI 1322.25 MOU Addendum for Education Services between Educational Institutions and the U.S. Air Force. Page 49 b. Institutions will: (5) Register and use the AI Portal to input Institution basic information, degree offerings, tuition rates, invoice submission, course grades submission, degree completions, and to pull pre-established educational institution reports while conducting business with the USAF. (6) Submit one consolidated invoice per term via the AI Portal for each class in which active duty military airmen are enrolled using Mil TA. Submission will be made during the term, no earlier than after the final add/drop/census date, and no later than 30 calendar days after the end of the term. (7) Submit course grades via the AI Portal for each class in which active duty military airmen are enrolled using Mil TA. Submission will be made no later than 30 calendar days after the end of the term.
