Biography Born and raised on the beautiful Caribbean Island of Jamaica, Raecine Williams or Rae, as she is more commonly known, considers herself to be a passionate young woman obsessed with culture and able to adapt to anything. Rae is a 21 year old graduate of the University of Miami receiving her Bachelor of Science in Motion Pictures and English Creative Writing with a minor in Music Business and Entertainment Industries. Rae is a lover of community service, dance, music and all things creative. At the University of Miami Rae served as President of the Future Black Communication Professionals club, a member of the Dean’s Student Circle, the production coordinator for the Miss University of Miami Scholarship Pageant and was on the Homecoming committee in addition to numerous other activities. Biography An avid traveler, Rae has traveled to over 14 countries in her lifetime including countries in Africa, Europe and the Middle East and has performed community service in her homeland of Jamaica, Egypt and Croatia. Also a pageant enthusiast, Rae was first runner up in the Miss University of Miami pageant in 2010, fourth runner up in the Miss Caribbean World Pageant in 2011 and made the top 5 of the Miss Jamaica World pageant in 2008, taking home the awards for most aware, community service and making the top 3 in talent - all while maintaining a place on the University of Miami's Dean's List. More

Biography Rae's passion for the Entertainment and Media industry started at a young age and developed into a career choice around her eighteenth birthday when she took an internship with Television Jamaica and was exposed to all aspects of the industry. Rae has since interned with the Institute for Shipboard Education, the Jamaica-based advertising agency OGM Integrated Communications Limited as well as worked with UMTV on two TV shows and is the author of numerous screenplays and literary works. More

  5. Biography Community service is also a huge part of Rae’s life as she lends herself to ensuring that disadvantaged youth are able to access the same opportunities she did. Rae has volunteered at the Overtown Youth Center in Miami, in her homeland of Jamaica, at orphanages in Egypt and Croatia and several other places. In 2008 Rae was the recipient of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ Community Service Award and in 2009 she received the Tatiana McIntosh Community Service Award. More

  6. Biography Proficient in Photo Shop and After Effects, she also does graphic and web design on the side. She designed the website for her chapter of her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (www.miami.edu/studorgs/iotanu). Rae took her talents to another arena when she became the designer of her own swimwear line which was featured in several pageants in Florida and will make its debut in Jamaica this summer. She also designed and maintains the swimwear line’s website (www.wildfreewear.com) Rae is an experienced and avid writer, filmmaker and designer with a keen interest in copyright law.   20. Wild/Free Swimwear Rae founded Wild/Free Swimwear in January 2011 and turned her talent for design into a small business. Currently, Wild/Free Swimwear is sold online and will be coming soon to stores. Rae designs each piece carefully and they are handmade in Kingston, Jamaica.
