  2. The First Computer! • The first computer that is considered to be the first electrical binary programmable computer was made by KonradZuse, in his parents living room in 1936 to 1938.

  3. Different Types Of Computers! Workstations Desktop Computers Notebook Computers Tablet Computers Mainframe Computers Handheld Computers Smart Phones Supercomputers Mini Computers

  4. The Internet! The Internet was the result of some visionary thinking by people in the early 1960’s who saw potential in allowing computers to share information on research and development.

  5. Who Invented The Internet? Although a lot of people think that Al Gore invented the Internet, he did not! The internet was invited in the United States in the late 1950’s to the early 1970’s by a group of researchers and scientists at the newly formed Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA).

  6. Who Invented The Mouse! • Douglas Engelbart changed the way computers work. From specialized machinery that only a trained scientist could use, to a user-friendly tool that almost anyone can use. He invented the computer mouse! • The mouse is Important because it makes using the computer a whole lot easier like: right clicking, scrolling up and down, being able to highlight stuff, and clicking on things a lot faster!

  7. Floppy Disk! • Floppy disk, one easy way to describe it is it’s the grandfather of the flash drive. Its like a flexible plastic disk coated with magnetic material and covered by a protective jacket, used primarily by computers to store data magnetically. Also called diskette

  8. Compact Disk (CD’S) • James Russell invented the compact disk. • A compact disk is an optical disc used to store digital data. It was originally used for storing music, but then went to storing movies on them too. Audio CD’s have been commercially available since October 1982.

  9. Flash Drives! • Dov Moran invented the USB flash drive. • A flash drive consist of a flash memory data storage device integrated with a USB. • USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable, and are much smaller than a floppy disk.
