  2. Project Overview • Tabbed Telnet and SSH client for Linux/UNIX • Specific features to aid in Internetwork Management • Scripts written in Perl, GUI client written in Perl/Tk. • Currently, program is text-only • GUI will fix that...

  3. But...Why? • End-users don't tend to like text-only programs. • If this were a chess program.. • Software currently relies heavily on a third-party application • OS/X.... • Fun!

  4. Progress Status • GUI client underway • Client spawns window, spawns tabs at will • Perl/Telnet: So many options!!!

  5. Still to Come • GUI client does not yet interface with the current scripts. • I.e, it doesn't do anything special, yet. • Logging of commands • Customize-ability through graphical menus. • Deployment at RPI...
