  2. TentangAseton Aseton merupakan senyawa keton palingsederhana. Aseton berwujud cair pada suhu kamar dengan bau yang harum. Aseton, juga dikenalsebagai propanon, dimetil keton, 2-propanon, dandimetilformaldehida Aseton larut dalam berbagai perbandingan dengan air, etanol, dietileter,dll.

KegunaanAseton 1) Pelarut senyawa karbon misalnya : sebagai pembersih cat kuku, pembersih cat kayu 2) Bahan baku pembuatan zat organik lain seperti klaroform yang digunakan sebagai obat bius. 3) aseton digunakan sebagai campuran parfum dan kosmetika lainnya. 4) Aseton juga digunakan sebagai pelepas lem super. 5) dapat melarutkan berbagai macam plastik dan serat sintetis.

  4. SifatAseton Sifat Aseton (C3H6O) adalah zat cair yang tidak berwarna, berbau tajam, mudah menguap, mudah terbakar, dan mudah larut dalam pelarut polar. Massa molar nya 58,08 g/mol. Densitas0,79 g/cm³, Titik leleh −94,9°C (178,2 K), Titik didih 56,53°C (329,4 K). Reduksimenyebabkanasetonberubahmenjadi, isopropilataualkohol.
