  2. ST. PETER’S CHURCH YATELEYDISCOVERIES & CHADDISBROOK HOUSE BUILDING PROJECT Fundraising Update No 2 – 10 August 2014 How much have we raised so far? Following the appeal, update the plan: - Loan over 25 years - Repayment options include someDiscoveries profits and further giving Potential total building cost (inclusive of VAT): £936,000 Draft funding plan agreed by PCC: £365,000 funds in hand - Giving appeal to church community Fundraising events Fundraising, donations and pledges received: £54,500 (Yr 1),rising to£113,000 (Yr 5),up from £50,000 / £93,000 in July Plus interest free loans £20,000from congregation members, (no change from July)

Target figure (inclusive of VAT) £936,000 less Funds in hand £365,000 Donations and pledges £113,000 Loans from members £20,000 Remaining total: £438,000 We are over half way there…and this figure will be taken out as a loan if we do no more fundraising and there are no more pledges….

Could you help with funding applications to Trusts & Foundations? We need someone prepared to write letters of applications to fund the work to make the building accessible and counselling improvements It doesn’t need to cost you anything: Volunteering to help out at organised fundraising events Look in your loft – Items for Discoveries? Or to sell on E-Bay? Easy-Search Search Engine donates every click Easy-Fundraising online shopping portal donates every purchase If you have not yet had the chance to donate, pledge or could make an interest free loan for the project, please consider doing so.
