Applicants can apply for the courses offered at the best beauty and makeup colleges in India immediately after completing grade 10. Beautician and makeup courses This is an important session where students learn how to work as makeup artists and how to deal with the application of corrective applications in terms of cosmetics for the skin, eyes, cheeks and lips. In this class, students practice and learn how to apply proper makeup for everyday needs, how to apply makeup for special days, high fashion, and how to properly apply makeup when appearing as models for fashion-related photography: digital and print photography. . Students learn how to apply foundation, which foundation to apply on which specific skin tone, blushes, eyeliner, lip liner application, gloss and lipstick, etc. how to apply makeup to specific skin tones, color theory, new trends in cosmetics, and different application styles. Hairdressing course: You can start with the basic hairdressing course as soon as you finish the make-up course. This is an elective course that covers a full training of styling tools such as hot and cold rollers, blow dryers, hot irons, their uses to create new look-enhancing hairstyles for any occasion. They are also taught to manage their hair and style it according to facial structures and occasions. Airbrush Course – This is an elective class where students learn the correct methods of using an airbrush machine, ways to apply the correct techniques to both the body and face. Airbrushing classes also include the use of tanning and makeup applications, color prosthetics for use in special effects, or film, television, or theater development. This class can be taken after the basic makeup course, along with it, or after classes. Stage Makeup Course – Theatrical makeup is often different and students must learn to work with different directors who have different expectations in terms of characters, situations, theatrical lighting and whether it is for stage, film or video. Makeup artists also need to develop certain historical characters or a horror movie character. Here, students would be taught how to create bruises, wounds, and abrasions with the help and use of cosmetics, prosthetics, etc., and they need to know how to apply the effect of aging on actors. Students would be taught to add facial and body hair and hide their heads with bald spots etc. Special Effects Makeup Course: Special effects or SFX makeup is taught both in the laboratory and in the classroom. The special effects course includes creating multi-piece looks using prosthetics, makeup, and hair to achieve intricate effects.
