  1. STORIES AND TAILS This program will allow children and families to read aloud to a therapy dog, which can improve reading and communication skills. The objective is to improve literacy levels and promote a positive reading environment. This program is sponsored by the Fort Knox American Red Cross. Saturday, May 10, 2014 1:00-2:00 Movies @ the Libary Frozen (105 minutes; Rated PG) Monday, May 5, 2014 11:00– 12:45 Saturday, May 10, 2014 11:00-12:45 Snacks are provided Make It & Take It Crafts for the older kids. Selection of crafts to choose from. Paper crafts to make cards, make bracelets with rubber bands, perler beads etc. Pick a craft or crafts to create. Supplies are provided. Ages 5 and older Friday, May 2, 2014 4:00-5:00 Meeting Room Celebrate Cinco de Mayo Come help us celebrate this holiday. Music and create Mexican heritage crafts. Snacks will be provided. No registration necessary. Monday, May 5, 2014 5:00– 6:00 Families are welcome Science Food Fun Program Stories, games, and other activities. Ages 2 and older. Walk-ins welcome. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 11:00-12:00 Hardin County Public LibraryMay Youth Newsletter Create-A-Craft Mother’s Day Cards No registration is required. Ages 2 and older Supplies are provided. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 11:00– 12:00 NEW-Bingo For Books An hour of bingo fun for the whole family with children’s books as prizes. Red, Red, Red Color FunProgram Come join us as we learn about the color red.
