  1. English Room Topic of ICT (Information, Communications, and Technology) Activity…Animals……………………… Aims of activity: Learning different aspects of animal life. Instruction model: (frontal with one computer, group with a few computers, etc): frontal with one computer and a barko. ICT Tools involved: (internet, blogs, whiteboard, Time to Know, YouTube, etc): internet, YouTube Outline of the lesson/activity: Description of what comes first, next, etc. After the students have learned the names of various animals and having divided them into four groups, Farm Animals, Wild Animals, Pets, and Animals that aid people, we have four different lessons. For each group we have different activities for example: Farm Animals – we learn songs and the children then wrote and performed their own songs. For Wild Animals children made posters to save animals in danger. For pets, children spoke about their own experiences with pets. For animals that help people, children were asked to find and present examples from the internet or YouTube. Group number: …….   2. 21st century literacy skills: (media and information literacy, communication skills, problem solving, collaboration, independent learning) They learned media and information literacy and independent learning. • Added value of integrating ICT in the lesson: (motivation, differentiation, effective presentation, etc.) Children were highly motivated to participate and contribute. Children of all levels could take part. • Pupil activity after the lesson: (independent reading and expansion of knowledge, virtual discussion, ICT activity, problem solving, presentation, inquiry, etc) Expansion of knowledge and independent reading were encouraged and the presentations showcased that very well. • Link to the activity – sent in Word document.
