  6. Video Introduction In this video, we we learn how genes are passed from organism to organism, where they are located, and how they work. We will also learn about transposons, how RNA works, and some discoveries that allow us to manipulate and examine DNA. We will also look at RNA interference and the future of genetics.

At the end of this video, you should be able to answer the following questions: Please write them down now • What are some important discoveries in genetics? • What is the structure and function of DNA? • Where is DNA located? • Why are some traits passed from parent to offspring? • What are the responsibilities of genes? • What are transposons?
