Yet, the similar layout ensures a smooth transition from the market benchmark, the MT4. The business world of Forex is not just brokers that give trading services, it is a group of services which together give traders a full rounded experience. The most important part is the trading platform, without which no trading can happen at all. Trading platforms are offered but not manufactured by Best Forex brokers . MetaQuotes Software Corp is one of the biggest software companies in the world which manufactures trading software. The company is Russian based but registered in Cyprus, and offers its MetaTrader software to over 450 brokerage companies and banks around the world.

  2. MetaTrader 5 Platform was released by Meta Quotes on the 1st of June 2010 exactly five years after the release of MT4. MT5 is the next and newest version of the trading platform. It offers clients more trading products apart from currencies, like stocks and commodities. It also has a newer programming language called MQL5 and it is not backward compatible. By April 2011 sales of the program were slower than MT4, with only 50 companies updating their platforms to MT5. The new programming language has also been a discouraging point for companies to take it up. So despite the fact that it is a newer version, it is still less successful than the MT4. The MT5 platform can be downloaded through brokers who offer it. It cannot be bought or downloaded on its own from Meta Quotes, as the company sells its software to brokers.
