What we would like to learn about… • How to take good care of our plants • When and how to harvest plants • How to recommend our plants to customers • How to make plants grow faster • How to water and loosen the soil for the plants to grow well • How to grow our plants in a way so that they won’t die

  3. Thailand • Thailand is a big country that is located in the continent, Asia • Thailand is about 511770 square km. • Thailand’s currency is called the Baht

  4. Kanchanaburi, Charm beach, Lop Buri etc can be found in the central of Thailand. • Khao Sam Muk, Bang Saen, Ko Sichang etc can be found in the East. • Chang Rai, Lamphun, Mae Hong Son etc can be found in the North. • Udon Thaini, Sakon, Nakhon etc is found in the Northeast. • Phuket, satun, Samui Island etc is found on the South. How Thais Eat • Eating food is such an important activity here in Thailand that you had better brush up your table manners before you come. • Thai table manners are more practical and mostly aimed at civil communal eating. • Many mannerism go back to a previous era when meals were collectively shared. • Food was the most important gist and gratefully received.

  6. Thais' Culture • Thailand displays some very distinct and refined culture, developed over the centuries from early Lanna florishings through to the golden ages of Sukothai and Ayuntthaya. • This includes costume, dance, music, social dances such as “wai” and more.

  7. Tsunami • Tsunami is a big, huge and terrible tidal waves. These tidal waves was caught on the South East Asia. • India, Maldives, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand are the islands/countries caught in the Tsunami.

  8. More.... • Immediately after the December 26 04 Tsunami, international donors pledged huge sums to the United Nations Relieve Funds.

  9. The area worst affected by the shortfall is the shelter programme for displaced islanders, who currently more than 13,000. • Some islands, such as Kandholhudhoo, have been totally abandoned.

  10. Nutritional Values Of Vegetables • Eating vegetables are our daily habits. • Vegetables are good for our health. • They help us to be healthy, as they contain a lot of fibre.

  11. Kangkong • There are two forms: upland (dry) and swamp (wet). The plant looks somewhat like the pickerel weed of Florida lakes.

  12. Lettuce • There are five different types of lettuce: crisp-head, leaf, butterhead, cos or Romaine, and stem. The crisp-head varieties with dense, firm heads and crisp leaves are by far the most important commercial types.

  13. Choy Sum • Choy Sum are perhaps the commonest form of Chinese greens sold in greengrocery, and are distinguished by the small yellow flowering heads that protrude from the bunch of leaves.
