Applying UDL to Curriculum Development • At the classroom level • Begin with focusing on the needs of the students • Choose methods, materials, and assessments based on these needs • Design the curriculum to be innately flexible “A UDL curriculum takes on the burden of adaptation so that the student doesn’t have to, minimizing barriers and maximizing access to both information and learning.” (Hall, Strangman & Mayer, 2009)
