  3. Time Frame and Investing • We would choose to invest in a long term investment, rather than a short term, it’s a more safe and reassuring way. • We searched the internet. We went to such places as http://money.cnn.com and http://cbs.marketwatch.com. • When we searched the websites, we found stock symbols and we also decided on the stocks we were going to use after comparing there long term outputs.

  5. Google • GOOG • A large internet based company. • We bought 20 stocks.($348.00 each) • Its been pretty steady and they are trying to make their company larger. • 52 week low:$172.57 (1/11/06) • 52 week high:$475.11 (3/14/05)

  6. MICROSOFT • Microsoft • MSFT • They make computers and computer equipment. • We bought 30 stocks.($27.24 each) • It’s a steady company, so I don’t expect much change, it can only help us. • 52 week low:$23.82 (1/31/06) • 52 week high:$28.38 (3/29/05)

  7. Alltel • Alltel • AT • A large phone company. • We bought 300 stocks. ($65.81 each) • It is a pretty steady company, plus it has a good sized dividend. • 52 week low:$54.50 (11/30/05) • 52 week high:$68.16 (3/23/05)

  8. Nike • NKE • Large sports apparel company • We bought 85 shares($85.03 each) • Steady moving company with always putting out new kinds of sporting goods. • 52week low: $75.10 (12/14/05) • 52week high:$91.54 (4/18/05)

  9. Well Fargo • WFC • Steady and a strong growing banking company. • We bought 300 shares at ($64.05 each) • 52 week low: $57.62 (10/12/05) • 52 week high:$64.94 (2/27/06)

  10. Sony • Sony • SNE • Steady large electronics company • We bought 150 shares ($46.67) • 52 week low:$31.80 (10/27/05) • 52 week high:$51.16 (1/26/06)

  11. Level 3 communications • Level 3 Communications • LVLT • Steady stocks which focus on communications • We bought 5341 shares ($3.44 each) • 52 week low:$1.35 (5/16/05) • 52 week high:$3.93 (1/21/05)

  12. What the Pro’s Recommend • Alltel-They are a steady company and an okay dividend.(100 shares($34,800)) • Google-They are making expansions with their company, and their stock should continue to increase.(250 shares($13,000)) • Level 3 Communications-This is the last company that I would recommend, it has helped us out a great deal. (5,000 shares($17,200))
