What is E.I.P.? Early Intervention Program • To serve students who might be at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level • Provide additional instructional resources to help students reach grade level performance in a short amount of time • Designed so that students may enter/exit as determined by their progress in the classroom and monitored scores E.I.P. is not I.E.P.
To serve students who might be at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level • Kindergarten – Third grades Universal Screener -Easy CBM
To serve students who might be at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level • Fourth –Fifth Grades
Provide additional instructional resources to help students reach grade level performance in a short amount of time • Pull out model • Small groups • More Individual attention • Manipulatives • Learning styles • Drill and practice • RTI Researched Based Interventions
Push In Model • Individual attention • Small groups within the classroom • Monitor work load
