  2. What do they do? Police officers do lots of stuff. Police officers use computers to locate the cars. A dispatcher gets information to the police officers. The patrol officer talks with the children so they can trust the patrol officer.

  3. What do they need? Police officers need equipment. Police need weapons. Police officers use motorcycles. Police need handcuffs so they can catch robbers. Police officers have walkie-talkies so they have backups.

  4. How do they help our communities Police officers help our communities. Police officers keep us safe. Police officers help when we are in trouble. Police officers protect us.

  5. Interesting Facts Police officers are interesting. Police officers drive to see if everything is fine. Police dogs help cops catch bad guys. Police officers have dogs so they can smell drugs. Police officers catch bad guys. A long time ago cops didn’t have cars so theyused horses. Police officers use bikes sometimes.
