  2. How This Works • Each slide has a title, but no real content • There may be hints or ideas for you to consider • Try to keep to less than 30 words per slide • Simple, clear diagrams may be useful too

  3. How This Works • When you’re finished, the powerpoint could be printed (choose ‘handouts’ option) to make revision cards • Alternatively, using the ‘save as .jpg’ option means you will have a folder of image files that can be transferred to your phone for revision on the move

  4. Adaptations • Examples should include feature and advantage

  5. Cold Conditions • Think of behaviour as well as physical/ anatomical features

  6. Hot Conditions • What general features are seen? • Consider both plants and animals

  7. Competition • Who do individuals compete with? • Relative or absolute advantage? • Why is chance also a factor!

  8. Three ‘S’ Factors • To be successful, an individual must: Remember these as survival, snacks and sex
