  1. Sparta and AthensA rivalry of nations

  2. This story starts out with a Spartan boy who has reaches the age of 7 • He is taken from his mother and must start his training to be a Spartan

  3. There will be a brief start of 10 minutes showing his advancement through his life in clips • From ages 7-12 he is doing rigorous training • From ages 12-18 he studies the Arts • At 19 years of age they do a year of survival training • Then at age 20 they are expected to marry

  4. The story picks up with him hearing news from a fellow Spartan of the Athenian ships sent to Egypt to help the Egyptians in their battle against Persia have been destroyed • The Spartan realizes what is being decided now

  5. The Story then skips ahead to him and another 1,000 of Spartans greatest warriors being told their mission to take over Athens • (The captain starts speaking) The pompous greedy city of Athens must fall • They have been terrorizing their neighbors and taking money that was supposed to be used to help Greece

  6. Then we fast forward to 1 month later with the Spartans traveling through Corinth • They are walking through Corinth and the people are wishing them luck • The Spartans continue on their way to the port city of Megara • The Spartan walks on heart set upon what he must do

  7. The Spartans go to the town of Megara an ally of Athens • The Spartans advance and easily take the city • The Spartans march on through the mountains until they reach the Long walls of Athens

  8. When they arrive an Athenian force is sent to stop them • A large battle ensues of which Sparta becomes the winner • The Spartans walk to the walls which now house almost all of the Athenians • The Spartans camp near the city discussing their plans

  9. In the morning the Spartans raid the surrounding fields of Athens burning many to the ground • The Spartans wait there for many days until one night they start to hear the screams of people from inside the city • It is the screams of the Sick using their last breath in a blood curdling wail

  10. Then a messenger arrives telling the Spartans camped that Sparta has now teamed up with their sworn enemy Persia to remove the Athenian empire once and for all • The persians make it to Athens months later and the Athenians see the combined military might of Sparta and Persia

  11. Then the Spartans receive word that Athens has surrendered without a fight
